Thomas Alcorn was born circa 1810 at Jackson County, Tennessee.1 Thomas was probably a free white male, age 10 and under 16, in James L. Alcorn's household, on the 1820 Census at Jackson County, Tennessee; Allcorn, James Sr. 3 males 0-9; 1 male 10-15; 1 male 16[19]-25; 1 male 45 years and older; 1 female 10-15; 1 female 16-25; unknown beyond [illegible]; unknown 3 males 0-9; 1 male 10-15 could be Thomas (10); 1 male 19-25 could be Richard (18); 1 male 45 and over could be James.2 Thomas was probably a free white male, age 15 and under 20, in an unknown person 's household, on the 1830 Census at Jackson County, Tennessee; Acorn Susannah 1 boy 5/10; 1 boy 10/15; 1 boy 15/20; 1 boy 20/30; 1 girl 15/20; 1 woman 50-59. The boy 20/30 could be Richard (28) and the boy 15/20 Thomas (20). Do not know who the boy 5/10, the boy 10/15, or the girl 15/20 are -- one might be Thomas' wife? could the two boys be children of Richard and perhaps the wife has died?3 He died circa 1840 at Jackson County, Tennessee.4

Brandenburg's has 1788, same year as James W.1,2 He and George Randolph Alcorn were taxed A Robert Alcorn shows up as living in the household of George Alcorn in 1809 and he has no land. In 1811, the father George Alcorn is shown as having two males above 16 years of age living with him.
between 1809 and 1811.1 Robert Alcorn married Nancy Shirley, daughter of Charles Shirley and Rebecca Collier, on 31 January 1812 at Clay County, Kentucky.1 Robert Alcorn lived between 1813 and 1824 at Clay County, Kentucky; In 1813, Robert is first shown on the Clay County, Kentucky Tax List.
