Jane ?1

Jane ? and Samuel Rolph Although on some records on the descendants of Samuel and Jane Rolph, their surname is spelled Rolfe and Rolph, it is usually spelled Roff. Therefore Roff will be used for all of their descendants in this genealogy. The only exception will be in case a branch line consistently adopts a different spelling.1 Jane ? was born in 1711 at New Jersey; died aged 83.1 As of circa 1730,her married name was Rolph.1 She married Samuel Rolph, son of Moses Rolfe and Mary Higgins, circa 1730 at New Jersey.1 Jane ? died on 20 March 1794 at Morristown, Morris County, New Jersey.1

Moses Roff was a witness Although on some records on the descendants of Samuel and Jane Rolph, their surname is spelled Rolfe and Rolph, it is usually spelled Roff. Therefore Roff will be used for all of their descendants in this genealogy. The only exception will be in case a branch line consistently adopts a different spelling. with Samuel Rolph and Jane ?1 Moses Rolph was also known as Moses Roff.1 He was born between 1740 and 1745 at Morris County, New Jersey; Note There is some question that Moses Rolph/ Roff was the son of Samuel Rolph Ralph. However the descending lines from Moses all used their surname spelling as ROFF as did a the descendants of Samuel Rolph Ralph With the exception of Samuel's descendants only in a few individual instances was Roff briefly used as a surname not consistently
The birth dates of Moses Rolph's children precludes the
possibility that he was was the son of one of Samuel's othermale sons. All the other New Jersey Moses
Rolfe/ Rolphs has been accounted for Therefore the only conclusion this researcher has been able to reach is that Moses Rolph Roff was the son of Samuel Rolph Ralph and the grandson of Moses Ralph Rolph - Fred Rolfe.1 He married Keturah Clark circa 1764 at New Jersey.1 Moses Rolph died between 1779 and 1830 at New Jersey.1
