In 1735 or 1736 he accompanied his father to Tyngstown [now Manchester NH], where Samual had been granted land; and his name appears on the proprieters' records a few times as survey crew chairman in the laying-out of Tyngstown in 1735 or 1736, as having ben arrested by the proprietors of Londonderry in the land dispute of 1740, and as having provided a salmon for the ceremony at the raising of the Tyngsown meeting house in 1741. Jonthan received from his father a deed of land in Tyngstown in 1737, but two years later he soldthe land to James Anderson of Londonderry and settled in Salem-Canada (now Lyndeborough and Wilton).3 He married Elizabeth Cram at Chelmsford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, between 1740 and 1741.2,3,4 Jonathan Chamberlain died on 19 January 1795 at Lyndeborough, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, at age 83.2 He served in the Continental Army at Ticonderoga.      Abraham Brown was born in 1689 at Hampton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire; The History of Hampton Falls NH (p. 548) makes an interesting observation: 'Not far from Mr. Dalton's in a southeasterly direction away from the road, lived Abraham Brown, born in 1689. He married Argentine Cram, daughter of John Cram, and died in 1769. He was nicknamed 'Lugpole,' from a little diversion he had of chaining his wife tothe lugpole and whipping her. . .Some of his sons removed to Raymond where their descendants still live."2,3 He married Argentine Cram at Hampton Falls, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, on 6 February 1716.2,3 Abraham Brown died on 15 February 1769 at Hampton Falls, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.2
