Abigail Thurston was born on 15 August 1791 at Chester, Windsor County, Vermont.1 She witnessed the census 1790 of John Thurston and Lydia Fletcher; date is guess based on 1790 citation - "John Thirston" 1 male over 16, 2 females. If 2 females is wife and first child, then Sep 1791 would be the date of enumeration. If enumeration is actually 1 April 1791 (the supposed date for the Vermont portion of the 1790 census, as VT entered the Union only in 1791) then there would be one "extra" female.2 Abigail Thurston died in 1794 at Chester, Windsor County, Vermont.1
