'North Carolina Troops, 1861-65, A Roster,' Vol IV lists a LENTS, Tobias--Born in Rowan Co., where he resided as a shoemaker prior to enlisting in Rowan Co., at age 41, on 25 Oct 1864, for the war. Paroled at Appomattox Court House, VA, on 9 Apr 1865. The age checks well, so this probably is the same as our Tobias LENTZ.
