Destination: an unknown place .3 Thomas Wheeler was made freeman on 17 April 1637 at Concord, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, He was in Concord MA as early as April 17 1636-7, when he was made a freeman there.
Of his life inConcord, substantially nothing is known. Being a supporter of the Rev john Jones at the time of the dissension of the church in Concord, he became one of those who removed with him to Fairfield, CT, in 1644.3 They resided at Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut, in 1644. The men who went to Fairfield with Mr. Jones were Thomas and Daniel Bulkely, sons of the Rev Peter Bulkeley, William Bateman, William Odell, Joseph Middlebrook, Thomas Wheeler Sr., Thomas Wheeler Jr, Ephraim Wheeler, both of Thomas Sr., James Bennett, son-in-law of Thomas Wheeler Sr., Richard Lettin, later called Lattin, William Judson, and Benjamin Turney. These are known to have come from Concord, and probably there wre others with them, whose names have not been preserved. The homelots of several in this group are all fond together inthe Pequonnock plot, east of the Fairfield plot, near the Stratford lne but west of the Pequonnock river. A narrative, probably written b a descendant of Thomas Wheeler, Senior, states that 'Thomas Wheeler Sr joined the plantation in 1640 and was the first settler at Black Rock (Mrs. Schenck, History of Fairfield, vol 1, page 42. Mrs. Schenk comments:"This statment does not agree with Shattuck or Savage, yet it may be true." The date 1640 isof course tooearly. It must be 1644 at the earliest.".4 He left a will on 16 January 1653/54 at Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut; His will mentions sons John and Thomas and brother Thomas, Lieutenant.1 He died between 17 January 1653/54 and 23 August 1654 at Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut.1,4

Timothy Wheeler was born circa 1601 at Luton, County Bedfordshire, England.1,2 He was baptized on 28 December 1604 at Warley, Cranfield Parish, County Bedfordshire, England.2 He married Susan Knight on 30 April 1632 at Cranfield Parish, County Bedfordshire, England.2 He witnessed Susan Knight's death at County Bedfordshire, England, in 1633.2 Timothy Wheeler married Jane ? in 1633 at Cranfield Parish, County Bedfordshire, England.3 Timothy Wheeler was made freeman on 13 May 1640 at Concord, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, "He was a freeman in Concord MA on 13 May 1640."2 He married Mary Brooks in 1642 at Concord, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.2 He witnessed Jane ?'s death at Concord, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, on 12 December 1643.3 He witnessed an unknown person 's death at Concord, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, between 28 January 1684/85 and 2 June 1687. George Wheeler was an early settler of Concord: The first record I find of his name is in 1640. He appears to have been a person of some influence, and his name appears often on town records. He was selectman in 1660. His house lot of 11 acres was at the (present) corner of Main and Walden Streets, and in conjunction with Capt. Timothy Wheeler, who I think was very probably his nephew, he owned a large amount of land in the center of the town. He had also land near the “frog-ponds” and at Walden Pond, and at Nut Meadow Brook. His death is not recorded but his will was dated January 28, 1684/5 and presented for probate June 2, 1687. (Suffolk Prob. Reg. Vol. X fol. 1) His sons Thomas and John were named executors, but the former had died between the above dates and John was named sole executor. The will names “the children of my son William deceased, sons Thomas and John, daughters Elizabeth Fletcher, Sarah Dudley, Ruth Hartwell and Hannah Fletcher, and the children of my daughter ‘Fox' “. His age is not known, but as he had a son married in 1657, and as the birth of the youngest of his eight children occurred in 1645, it is probable that he was born between 1600 and 1610. I think it probable that he was a brother of Obadiah. [Katherine, wife of George, was sister to Obadiah Wheeler. She died 11 Feb. 1684 -- RRW].4,5 Timothy Wheeler died on 30 July 1687 at Concord, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1,2

George Wheeler was baptized on 28 March 1605 at Cranfield, County Bedfordshire, England.3 He and George Wheeler Wheeler (1935) has George of Concord MA as the son of Thomas. However, in the subsequent article (1937), he wrote: "The will. . .casts doubt on the identification of George of Concord as son of Thomas Wheeler "the elder." Such a son was baptized, and at the right date for such identification; but lack of mention of the son George in the will, which mentions every other surviving child by name, makes it doubtful whether this identification can now be sustained. If George son of Thomas "the elder" died young, as now seems likely, we cannot at present place the parentage of George of Concord." in 1606 at Cranfield, County Bedfordshire, England.1,3 He married Mary Studd on 12 May 1628 at Cranfield, County Bedfordshire, England.4 He married Katherine Wheeler at County Bedfordshire, England, on 9 December 1631.5 George and Katherine immigrated, between 1638 and 1639. Destination: an unknown place .6 George Wheeler was made freeman on 2 June 1641 at Concord, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, He took the oath of freeman June 2 1641.6 In 1644 a petition was signed by George, Thomas & Joseph Wheeler and Robert Meriam on behalf of Mr. Ambrose Martin for compassion.
On May 14 1645 a petition was presented to the town of Concord signed by George & Timothy Wheeler regarding the division of lands. At this time George Wheeler received 20 acres of land. He was chosen to be an overseer of the south quarter. In 1666 the proprietors listed: George Wheeler 24 lots & 434 acres; residence south near James Adam's. Capt Timothy and Thomas wheeler were also listed along with Samuel Merriam.6 He died between 28 January 1684/85 and 2 June 1687 at Concord, Middlesex County, Massachusetts; George Wheeler was an early settler of Concord: The first record I find of his name is in 1640. 1684 -- RRW]1,5
