     Frank M Eslick was occup1 It is said that Frank was sent, by his father, back to Bowling Green from the Indiana frontier to be educated. He studied medicine under Dr. Burns, a physician who had been educated in the East and was considered one of the finest doctors in Kentucky. Frank was a doctor and also a school teacher and lawyer.2 He was born on 9 April 1812 at Kentucky.1 He married Mary Ann Alcorn, daughter of John Alcorn and Mary "Polly" King, on 12 February 1833 at Bartholomew County, Indiana.1 Frank M Eslick died on 2 June 1855 at Homer, Webster County, Iowa, at age 43.1

Mary Ann "Polly" Brown1,2

F, b. 1844, d. between 1881 and 1934
     Mary Ann "Polly" Brown was born in 1844 at Kentucky; dau of William Brown and Harinah Johnson.1,2 As of 4 August 1872,her married name was Bennett.2 She married John B Bennett on 4 August 1872 at Webster County, Missouri.2 She witnessed John B Bennett's death at Webster County, Missouri, in 1873. Died in jail while awaiting trial for the murder of his neighbor
-- In the fall of 1872, Joseph W Prindle was sharing Motts Spring, with John B Bennet, the spring was on Bennet's property. Prindle was away, working on the railroad, when he came home his wife, Lizie, told him "Bennet won'tlet us have no more water out of Motts Spring." Thus Joseph W Prindle took the gun down off the wall and went down the hill in front ofhis house, crossed the branch at the Mott's Spring and up the hill on the other side to Bennet's house. He confronted Bennet about refusing the Mrs Prindle water from Motts Spring and avery heated argument followed, Joseph W Prindle turned to go back down the hill toward Motts Spring, when he was almost to the foot of the hill south of Mott Spring, John B Bennet shot him, and he fell dead.
. . .John B Bennet was indicted for the murder inthe spring term of Webster County MO court 1873. He was taken to Marshfield to the county jail. He knew he would surely hang for murduring Joseh W Prindle. After residing in the jail for a while, he decided rather than be convicted and most certainly hanged, he made a plan with his wife, Polly, and on her next visit to the Webster County jaill she took him some poison, and he drank it and soon after was dead. They took his body home and buried him under a walnut tree in his front yard on the hil south of Motts Spring..2 She married William Riley Alcorn at Webster County, Missouri, on 7 July 1874.1,3 As of 7 July 1874,her married name was Alcorn.1 Mary was divorced from William Riley Alcorn at Webster County, Missouri, say 1879.2 As of say 1880,her married name was Trimble.3 She married Bartlow Trimble at Webster County, Missouri, say 1880.3 Mary Ann "Polly" Brown died between 1881 and 1934 at Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma.3
