The Ancestry and Descendants of Lt Jonathan and Tamesin (Barker) Norris also lists Benjamin's wife as Sarah Partridge, reporting these facts about her father: "John Partridge of Portsmouth NH was born about 1639 and married Dec 11 1660, Mary, b 1634, daughter of Capt Reginald and Joanna (Warburton) Fernald of Kittery, M 1630." It is interesting that a grandson by their eleventh child Sarah, was named Joseph Patridge Norris.1 She was born on 5 December 1676 at Rockingham County, New Hampshire; "Benjamin's wife was Sarah Shaw (born Dec 5 1676) according to the Genealogical Dictionary of Maine & New Hampshire."1 She 'Benjamin's wife was Sarah Shaw (b 5 Dec 1676) acc to the Gen Dic of Maine & NH. Elmer Cram quotes an entry dated 1723 (NH Wills 1718-40) in which 'Samuel Shaw leaves to his sister Sarah, wife of Benjamin Cram of Hampton Falls, NH, five pounds.' Elmer Cram's files list her as the dau of Joseph and Elizabeth (Partridge) Shaw, referencing Dow's History of Hampton, NH p. 965. The History of Deerfield NH simply lists his wife as Sarah ---, and Col Fam of the USA refers to his wife as Sarah (Partridge) Cram, du of John and Mary (Fernald) Partridge of Portsmouth NH.
